Anti-doping rules are controversial in certain situations. While certain individuals violate anti-doping rules, the whole teams are suspended. Thus, individuals who don’t violate anti-doping laws are suspended together with liars. Can’t you find it unfair? Why should good athletes be kept from making their hopes and dreams real, while other individuals violate anti-doping laws?
The football program of the college from Waterloo was shut down for a year. It was due to results of an investigation. Everything began because of a bust of a player who was caught having many vials of anabolic steroids and HGH. It caused many investigations conducted in Canadian colleges. The investigations were conducted by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport.
One of investigations resulted in eight positives of the Waterloo football players. The positives caused the decision to suspend the whole team for a year.
Unfortunately, fair players of the Waterloo College were punished together with liars who took forbidden performance-enhancing medications. The football players Matt Vonk and Steve Ples played at Laurier before the scandal related to steroids and the suspension. These two football players dind’t take steroids. That’s why Matt Vonk and Stele Ples hadn’t receive the suspension.
These two former football players for the University of Waterloo mada a decision to transfer to another college in order to make their dreams related to football real. But they received refusal. So, these two football players will be kept from playing football the whole year.
