The clinics “South Beach Rejuvenation” and “LA Health and Rejuvenation” sold steroids via internet

Jeffrey George is the founder of a former famous clinic related to hormone replacement therapy. The clinic was called “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Jeffrew George was accused in illegal sales of anabolic steroids. As it was said by investigators, he started todistribute controlled substances through his clinic illegally. But in fact he participated in illegal activity of pain clinics located in Florida. Jeffrey George sold steroids via internet.
George and his twin brother Chris were leaders of a pain clinic activity. They got 40 million dollars due to illegal sales of oxycodone and other analgesics during 2 years. This resulted in their accusations. Jeffrey George faced also a charge of a murder because a client of “South Beach Rejuvenation” had died due to overdosing.
Jeffrey George hid his illegal activity through his clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Anabolic steroids were advertising on the internet and in various magazines connected with fitness as a part of therapy conducted by the clinic.
It was not the first arrest of George because of steroids. He was accused in possession of anabolic steroids , intending to sell them in 2003. This person was sentenced to eight-month imprisonment. Then Jeffrey George was involved in illegal distribution of anabolic steroids, trying to bypass Florida’s laws which allowed clinics to prescribe and sell steroids legally. This man didn’t have any medical education. But he established the clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation” and employed several physicians that prescribed steroids without any fear. One of his employees was Daniel Hauser. This physician got 5, 000 dollars weekly for prescriptions of steroids for clients of George’s clinic.
Since steroids were sold via internet and customers were far from the clinic, they were required to perform some tests in clinics that were located near to them. Then they filled results of lab tests in the certain blanks and sent to the “South Beach Rejuvenation” per internet. Hauser wrote them prescriptions.
A lot of sales consultants of ”South Beach Rejuvenation” used anabolic steroids too. Moreover, they purchased large amounts of steroids with prescriptions and distributed them on the side. The sales consultants also explained their clients how to take and combine steroids in order to reach more positive effects in bodybuilding and sports.
Chris, George’s brother, helped his friend, Chris Hutson, financially to set up a clinic to sell steroids. Thus, “LA Health and Rejuvenation” was opened.
Cynthia Cadet and Robert Meek were two physicians who were employed by Hutson to prescribe anabolic steroids. They earned 1, 000 dollars per week.
The owners of these clinics and doctors employed by them were charged with illegal distribution of anabolic steroids and prescriptions over internet.
