Josh Barnett talked publicly about evils of steroids

Josh “The Babyfaced Assassin” Barnett, a former American mixed martial artist and wrestler, has obtained a conditional license by the California State Athletic Commission in order to fight. This athlete tested positive for the anabolic steroid that is well-known under the name “Masteron”. It was in June, 2009. Analyses of two urine samples demonstrated that this athlete had administered this banned medication. It was prior to his fight against Fedor Emelianenko which was scheduled on August 1, 2009. As a result of his positive, the wrestler was excluded from the event and sentenced to a suspension. Thus, this athlete forfeited his license.
This fighter denied application of steroids or other related medicines knowingly. It was the second time, when Josh Barnett confirmed that he had never applied steroids intentionally.
Several years ago Josh Barnett tested positive for steroids as well. After his participation in Las Vegas at UFC 36 in March 2002 he tested positive for metabolites of some banned drugs. Thus, he lost his UFC Heavyweight title.
This wrestler was banned for a half year by the Nevada Athletic Commission. Soon after he was sentenced to suspension he left the USA for Japan. This athlete fought there for circa 5 years. Then he returned home. As a defense in 2002, this person blamed a dietary supplement which was offered for sales legally. This fighter noticed that he had utilized that supplement in 2002. It was included in the list of the controlled substances later, in 2004. Josh Barnett confirmed that it had been legal, when he had administered it.
Some persons were surprised that the CSAC granted Barnett a license to fight again. This mixed martial artist has never admitted that he had applied steroids.
This mixed martial artist noted that a banned athlete had to talk publicly about evils of steroids in order to be involved in competitions again.
Josh Barnett was able to convince the commission that he thought that steroids represented evident evil. He asked whether they ever thought that steroids were bad.
