Jose Canseco compares his nightmares about steroids with a demon that never sleeps

The former professional baseball player Jose Canseco has claimed that he has nightmares about steroids. He has clamed that he has begun to experience nightmares from the time of writing his book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big”. The work reveled usage of steroids by some MLB players. The author has stated on his Twitter account that nightmares connected with steroids hunt him since he wrote the book. Furthermore, he continues to have them till nowadays. He compares them with a demon who never sleeps.
Jose Canseco has called himself the “godfather of steroids in baseball”. He described in his book about usage of steroids by certain MLB players quite openly. This book has become a bestseller. The author has mentioned names of the players that have used anabolic steroids. He claimed that he had been pushed out of professional baseball because of his book.
Jose Canseco identified such sportspersons, as Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriquez, Jason Giambi and Juan Gonzalez, claiming that they had utilized steroids. He also identified Alex Rodriquez and Roger Clemens but he didn’t state that he had known about intake of steroids by these sportspeople directly.
The most well-known name that has been reported by Jose Canseco in his book is the name of the former professional baseball player Mark McGwire who hit 70 homeruns. Jose Canseco noted that McGwire had applied Deca Durabolin and Winstrol, when they played with the Oakland A’s.
Canseco noted that he had injected Mark McGwire with steroids many times in the bathrooms and in other places. He noticed that he injected McGwire before their trainings or after them.
At the beginning no one was inclined to believe that these statements were true. Mark McGwire denied the statements of Jose Canseco. But later the accusations were proven. Finally Mark McGwire acknowledged that he had taken steroids and HGH. He said that Jose Canseco had written the truth.
McGwire acknowledged that he had used banned medications and he had apologized about this factor. He noted that he was administering them during the 90s. Later McGwire has obtained possibility to play baseball professionally again. He was engaged as a St. Louis Cardinals’ hitting instructor.
As for Jose Canseco, he desires to get the second chance and to return to the MLB. The “Tigres de Quintana Roo” have agreed to give the 2nd chance. Canseco hopes that this is his step in direction to the MLB.
